We would like to thank everyone that entered our tournament. We will be hosting a no frills tournament this year. Please remember that the staging area will be on the West (hill) side of the building and when teams are done with a race they will exit the North (end) door.
Start times
Our head judge is Scott Stein. Measuring will be from 7:15 am until 7:45 am. We will have a captain’s meeting immediately following the measuring, so please leave all dogs outside until this meeting is completed. We will begin racing both days at 8:00 am.
Formats (all racing is 3/5)
Divisions 1 and 2 will be a Single Round Robin with one point awarded to the winner of each race. Highest point total is 1st, second highest 2nd, etc….
Divisions 3, Multi 1 and Multi 2 will be a Single Round Robin into a Double Elimination. The Round Robin will count for seeding only and the placements for each Division will be determined by the Double Elimination round.
Division 4 will be a Double Round Robin with one point awarded to the winner of each race. Highest point total is 1st, second highest 2nd, etc….
Ties
Ties will be broken first by head-to-head racing. Any remaining ties will be broken by fastest time for the tournament.
Camping
There will be onsite camping for a flat rate of $30.00 for the weekend. Any electrical hookups into a building are subject to this fee. Please be advised that the fairground personnel actually walk around and count the number of cords that are being used. The grounds will be open at noon on Friday for set-up.
